Configure Activity Fields Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to configure the activity fields for exporting schedule data to an IPMDAR file.

You must select a field for Work Package ID or Control Account ID, and a field for Task Planning Level

The drop-down fields include all of the same fields that are visible on the Metrics tab Insert Fields dialog box as well as any calculated fields that operate on activities.

Field	Description
Task ID	If you are exporting .mpp or Project Server schedule data, you can select the field to be used for the task ID. If you are exporting any other type of schedule data, this field is disabled and displays {Default} and Acumen uses the data in the ID column (activity ID) as the task ID. When you perform the export, if there are any duplicate records, Acumen logs them in the export log and they are not exported. Note: Acumen matches activities in Forensics using the ID; therefore, if you use an alternate field for the activity ID during the export, Forensics will not be able to compare the source and exported activities. All activities will be seen as different and nothing will match.
Task Subtype	This is an optional field. To use it, you should specify one of the following fields (accepted with or without underscores): Schedule_Visibility_Task Schedule_Margin Contractual_Milestone
Task Planning Level	This is an optional field. To use it, you should specify one of the following fields (accepted with or without underscores): Summary_Level_Planning_Package Control_Account Planning_Package Work_Package Activity
WBS ID	If the selected project includes cost data that was imported, Acumen populates this field with the WBS field that was selected when you ran the Import Cost Data wizard; however, you can select a different field.
OBS ID	If the selected project includes cost data that was imported, Acumen populates this field with the OBS field that was selected when you ran the Import Cost Data wizard; however, you can select a different field.
Control Account ID	This is an optional field. If you select an ID in this field, you must also select a Work Package ID. The default is to use the WBS and OBS together for the control account.
Work Package ID	This is an optional field. If you select an ID in this field, you must also select a Control Account ID.
Integrated Master Plan ID	This is an optional field.
SOW Reference	This is an optional field.
Subcontractor Reference / ID	This is an optional field.
Progress Technique	This is an optional field.
Critical Path	Select the standard field or user field that contains the Critical Path value. The default is the Acumen field named "Critical." The IPMDAR Schedule Performance Dataset (SPD) format expects a Yes for something on the critical or driving path. The fields you choose to export should be Yes / No or True / False. If the field is not a Yes / No field, Acumen evaluates it with the following rules: If it is true / t / yes / y / 1 (case insensitive), Acumen marks it as True. If it is false / f / no / n / 0 (case insensitive), Acumen marks it as False. Anything else is treated as False.
Driving Path	Select the standard field or user field that contains the Driving Path value. The default is the Acumen field named "Critical." The IPMDAR Schedule Performance Dataset (SPD) format expects a Yes for something on the critical or driving path. The fields you choose to export should be Yes / No or True / False. If the field is not a Yes / No field, Acumen evaluates it with the following rules: If it is true / t / yes / y / 1 (case insensitive), Acumen marks it as True. If it is false / f / no / n / 0 (case insensitive), Acumen marks it as False. Anything else is treated as False.
